Our private label line includes over 200 vitamins, herbal extracts, sports supplements and functional foods. We also carry a number of quality name brand items including NOW® Foods and Life Extension®.Here's what sets us apart when it comes to quality and value: Great Value Almost all our private label items come in pure powder form. That means you are getting the highest concentration of active ingredient -- no fillers. This makes for a great overall value compared with capsules and tablets. High Quality We source our supplements from leading industry manufacturers and suppliers and rebottle under strict good manufacturing practices to insure a high quality product. Low Prices We avoid high overhead costs like expensive advertising, print catalogs and elaborate internet shopping carts and we pass those savings on to our customers.Beyond A Century, Inc. is a small, family-owned company dedicated to the principles of good health and great value. Our private-labeled powders are rebottled on site using strict quality control methods that cover the bulk product from receiving through final shipment to our customers. We purchase our bulk items from established, reputable suppliers in the industry. Each product comes to us with a documentation that details identity, composition and purity of the product. We follow a stringent in-house good manufacturing practices program, modeled on industry guidelines, that includes receiving and sampling procedures; proper storage of bulk and finished products; personnel education and training; sanitation and maintenance of grounds and equipment; manufacturing production and process controls; periodic independent laboratory testing to confirm suppliers' specifications, and extensive paperwork and records that preserve the integrity and quality of our products. We engage in continuous self-auditing to assure our customers that they are receiving the highest quality products we can produce for the best possible price we can offer.
Company Biography
2010 is Beyond a Century's 27th year in business! Founder Warren Cochrane began BAC with a personal dedication to the principles of life extension, good health and great value. A science teacher and coach, Warren had held an interest in nutrition since his teen years. He played football at Yale (grad, 1960) and competed in many other sports including weight lifting, cross-country and alpine skiing, and has won National Championship white water canoe paddling and poling races in past years. Warren has trained with weights for over 50 years; has coached ten different sports, and trained hundreds of athletes (including his own three sons who were members of the US Ski Team).By 1983, with a background in using arginine and ornithine for support of his fitness regimens, Warren found himself selling "Performance Powder" (our original arginine/ornithine combination, still available and selling well!), and other products. The goal then, as now, was to offer low prices for what he thought were the best nutritional products, sold without fancy labels, advertising and catalogs. He was looking for people who wanted great products, were willing to measure out powders, and didn't want to spend a fortune on supplements.
At BAC we try to keep up with the latest nutrition information and offer high-quality products at the best price we can. We purchase from established, reputable suppliers, and pass the savings on to our customers.

We never share, sell or rent our mailing lists to anyone. This includes our email lists. We will only contact you via email if you have signed up for our newsletter or we need to contact your regarding a pending order. DOMESTIC CUSTOMERS:Economy shipping via UPS ground or USPS first class service is $5.00 within the continental United States. Priority Mail, next day, 2nd day and three day are all charged at cost to the customer. We make every effort to process orders within 24 hours of retrieval. This includes next day, 2 day and 3 day orders. If you need an order shipped same day, please call our office at 800 777 1324. Orders submitted after 1 p.m. Friday may not be retrieved until the following Monday morning. Orders are not retrieved on holidays.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
We currently ship to a very limited number of countries including Australia**, UK, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Singapore, Japan, and Canada**
General Policies: We accept international orders on a limited basis. Please note that some items, including prohormones, yohimbe, ecd, liquid items, cannot be shipped overseas by us. Customers outside the US accept all financial responsibility for orders, including lost, damaged packages, packages held by customs as well as any import taxes and duties. All countries have different import laws and restrictions -- if an order is returned to us because of import problems, we will refund product price less a 20% restocking fee if the items are in resellable condition. We ask that international customers ordering for the first time limit their orders to $100 or less. Orders in excess of $100 US will require credit card verification via faxing of a credit card statement billing/shipping address listed (you may block out purchase history for privacy). We are unable to verify international credit cards through our bank and do not accept paypal. We do accept international money orders. Customers may submit their orders over our online ordering system and we will return a ship quote for approval (please note any required fields that do not apply to international addresses may be filled with XX -- you may confirm your full address in the comments box). Our online ordering system does not charge credit cards. We ship via International Priority Mail. We declare full value of supplements on the shipping label and label the items Dietary Supplements.
**Canadian Customers: Canadian customers are limited to a strict 90 day personal supply of any product (Take number of doses listed on label and divide by maximum recommended number of doses per day to arrive at this number). This will exclude many of our powdered products. We also do not ship Acetyl L Carnitine, any prohormones (melatonin, etc.), yohimbe, hoodia, tryptophan and 5HTP. We are not familiar with other import regulations, so customers order at their own risk.

What kind of guarantee do you provide for your products and what is your return policy?
We guarantee all the products we produce at BAC to be the materials represented. Our catalog does not have room for full labels of all formulas. If there is any question on a product, request full disclosure information. To keep prices low, we do not guarantee any function or result for an individual. Realize that many powdered nutrients and herbs may be bitter or just may not taste good to some people. We find that things taste a lot better if we remember we are saving lots of money! You may return any unopened supplements within 60 days for a full refund. Please contact us via phone or email for an RMA or we cannot assure a credit. A restocking fee may apply.
Your prices seem so low -- especially on your powdered products -- How do I know I'm getting a quality product?
Our products come from the same suppliers as many of the better known brands. We can offer these products to you at discounted prices because we do not use expensive packaging and do not have significant advertising costs. We charge a fair markup and pass the savings on to our customers. All our powdered bulk products come with documentation certifying purity and authenticity. These are available upon request to the customer.
Are you nutritionists or health professionals?
NO! We are not! We are not allowed to recommend products for the treatment of disease or a specific condition. None of our products are intended to treat any disease or disorder. We encourage our customers to be their own best health advocates and take advantage of the wide range of literature available to them. Our owner has been involved in the industry for well over 30 years, however, and is always happy to pass on information that he finds informative and helpful.
How do you take powdered products -- how is the dose measured?
Powdered products are generally taken with water or juice or mixed in food. You can either mix the powder in with water or you can put the powder in your mouth and wash it down with water. Some people find mixing powders in with applesauce is a good alternative. Some nutrients are taken on an empty stomach-this is indicated on the label. Powdered products are measured in milligrams per teaspoon. Most items are measured in 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon doses. Specific information is listed on the labels. (Example: 1/4 teaspoon equals 500mg containing .....). Due to density fluctuation, measuring spoon equivalents are approximate. For those requiring extremely accurate dose, we recommend measuring by weight with an appropriately accurate scale or otherwise using capsules or tabs.
