Women: On Campus and Beyond, Have You Really Come A Long Way?
During the past couple of decades, it is clear that women at all levels of higher education have made tremendous gains and strides. However, despite significant gains, there is only ONE woman president of an Ivy League institution, and currently the number of HBCU women presidents is steadily declining. Also, the number of Latina women administrators remains critically low; and although female students are graduating in record numbers, their presence has not increased in the technical and engineering fields of study.

Panelists: Dr. Rebekah McCloud, Director, Minority Programs in Education, University of Central Florida; Dr. Barbara Robles, Professor, University of Texas at Austin, Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs; Dr. Marilyn Mobley McKenzie, Professor, George Mason University; Dr. Rhonda Williams, Economist & Professor African-American Studies, University of Maryland, College Park; Dr. Deborah Dicroce, President, Tidewater Community College; Atty.
