	Our people riding glass birds never last long on our website, and this is the first one we've ever done on a Valentine's Day motif! Early vintage glass peacock has indents, prefect for decorating with die-cut hearts edged with lovely antique gauzy lace. The scrap cupid, no doubt orphaned some time ago from an antique valentine, looks right at home astride the peacock! Handmade and signed by Glenn Giaimo. Beautiful crepe-paper basket is richly decorated both inside and out! Early vintage nut-cup is the only one we've seen like this - ruffled on both the top and the bottom. The antique scraps and heart are layered inside the basket to look like a 3-dimensional Victorian Valentine! The heart alone was crafted with 7 different antique and early vintage materials, to include lovely Dresden Valentine papers and antique brushed velvet fabric. Handmade and signed by Glenn Giaimo. The red accents - from the carnations on the boat, the heart, and roses with "Yours for ever" motto, to the silk floral trim and lacey wired handle - really make this a stunning and beautiful ornament. 	WE USED VERY EARLY ORNAMENTS MADE IN GERMANY AND ANTIQUE TINSEL TO MATCH! We think maybe the oblong ornament is about 90 year old and is made out of some kind of early clear plastic (maybe celluloid?). It has its original decorative wires and cording, plus some tinsel in the inside (a neat effect for a transparent ornament). We added a turn-of-the-century bumpy indent as the basket for the antique scrap cherubs, and vintage cellophane behind the early vintage Dresden paper heart for a nice effect. Handmade and signed by Gail Giaimo. 	We designed this ornament to look like a 3-dimensional Victorian Valentine! The Glass teardrop ornament with the glass pink pike makes a perfect ship for the adorable antique scraps. The embossed die-cut heart has been edged with early cellophane. The green cellophane we used inside the heart is actually antique… it is embossed with flowers and birds.
