	These items were made in Germany in the early 1900s. Chickens are in excellent condition and are marvelously painted. Putz well is made of wood with mache covering. You can move the handle to raise and lower a metal bucket attached by a chain (chain looks like a newer replacement). There is what appears to be an original store sticker with 19 cents price tag on the under side of the well. The two Putz chickens are composition with metal feet. Putz maiden is composition and has what looks like the original wooden peg under her bottom which keeps her perfectly balanced in a sitting position. Putz cow is composition with stick legs and ears. (Man and horse are freestanding, and can be positioned any way you choose.) The pen is wood with twig fencing and gate – and also has a wonderful luffa tree. The composition man is holding a pipe and rope whip. The horse is early mache with stick feet and may even predate the 1900's. The man and enclosure are stamped "Germany". 	Add to your lighted village scene under your Christmas Tree with this heavily flocked early vintage church stamped "Made in USA" on bottom. Flocked cardboard church has silk screened wax paper in windows and doors (intact with no tears), and displays nicely when lit from within using the hole provided in the back of the building (click picture to see back side). Also has Luffa trees (which helps date it as an older piece), glass beads decorating the front entrance and cardboard fences. Looks great with any wintery village scene! 	COMES COMPLETE WITH IT'S ORIGINAL BOX - CLICK PICTURE TO SEE DETAILED PHOTOS!!. Create a lighted village scene under your Christmas Tree with standard electric tree lights as shown here (lights shown for example only and are not part of the set). Original box is marked "Christmas Village Snow Houses" and is made by The Dalby Toy Co., Ohio, USA. BOX IS IN AS-FOUND CONDITION, with tears and stains and partial repairs with clear tape. All 8 cardboard homes are in excellent condition, have holes in the back for electric lights, and sit on cardboard platforms. These snow houses are in different styles, are all hand decorated with fine mica "snow", and have transparent windows. 5 of the 8 homes even have side windows that light up (click picture to see details).
