These rain barrels have a screw-on CLOSED LID with three overflow male hose connections, which allows you to hook your diverter up to either side of the rain barrel. With a CLOSED LID system, the diverter MUST be installed above the rain barrel with a constant drop in the connector hose. See Instructions provided with the diverter. The rain barrels have a plastic on/off valve, and a bottom drain cap. The overflow fittings allow excess water to be diverted into a second barrel (or third, or fourth or fifth etc.) With the diverter installed, all excess water is channeled back into the downspout.

These gray, blue, and terra cotta colored 60 gallon plastic barrels were originally brought into this country filled with olives and pickles. Dimensions = 39” tall 23” diameter. These barrels hold approximately 60 gallons.

All of our plastic rain barrels are made from re-cycled food grade barrels. These plastic recycled barrels have traveled many thousands of miles, and even though we have thoroughly cleaned them inside and out, and applied several coats of a UV polish, they may still have some small scratches and scrapes. This should be considered as part of the "character" of the Grecian rain barrels.

The plastic on/off valve and caps are shipped inside the barrel and will need to be screwed onto the pre-installed plastic fittings by the customer. The on/off valve can be interchanged with the bottom drain cap if desired.
