Single barrel potting bench
The Single Rain Barrel potting bench is built with treated lumber, and is approximately 36" tall, 22" wide and 54" long. The rain barrel connects to the downspout with the Aunt Molly's diverter, supplied with the bench. Plants can be watered from the spigot on the rain barrel. We designed our potting benches and our elevated gardens, (coming soon), for the physically challenged men and woman, who find it difficult, if not impossible, to work in a garden at ground level. The height of the bench, and the open area underneath, makes easy access for persons who are confined to wheel chairs.

Double barrel potting bench
Our double rain barrel potting bench is built with two 53 gallon rain barrels. The primary rain barrel should be connected to a downspout with the Aunt Molly's diverter (shown above), which is supplied with the potting bench. The second rain barrel is connected to the primary rain barrel with a connector hose, and fills automatically at the same time as the primary barrel. The potting platform is built with treated lumber, and is approximately 36" tall, 21" wide and 78" long. Plants can be watered with water from the spigot from either rain barrel. If the optional pitcher pump is ordered, the pitcher pump can access 106 gallons of water while remaining in the some position on the original rain barrel. The pitcher pump can be positioned on the left or the right side of the potting bench.
We designed this potting bench for the avid senior citizen gardener, as well as the physically challenged men and woman, who find it difficult, if not impossible, to work in a garden at ground level. The height, and the open area underneath, makes access easy for persons confined to wheel chairs.
