The second rain barrel is connected to the primary rain barrel, and fills automatically when the primary rain barrel is full. The potting platform is built with western red cedar, and is approximately 38" tall, 20" wide and 78" long. The potting bench comes with a fully functional pitcher pump, and a recessed potting soil container with a lid. We designed this potting bench and the elevated gardens, (coming soon), shown below for the physically challenged men and woman, who find it difficult, if not impossible, to work in a garden at ground level. 	You no longer have to worry about an overflowing rain barrel! The "Rain Reserve" diverter is a system that attaches to your downspout and will direct the rain water into your rain barrel. After the rain barrel is full, the diverter will automatically re-direct the rain water back into the downspout. The "Rain Reserve" diverter has been modified to fit our rain barrels, but will work with most any open top or closed top rain barrel as long as the rain barrel has a male hose overflow connection. The diverter can be installed above the rain barrel if it is a closed top system, but must be installed even with the top of the rain barrel if it is a model with screened holes in the top. (See installation instructions).
