Ground Cover-Floating Crop Covers - AG-06
Dupont AG-06 UV Pointbonded Polyester is a general use, lightweight floating row cover. It is made of white, ultraviolet (UV) resistant spunbonded polyester that transmits approximately 70% light, which is adequate for crop growth. Because it is very lightweight (0.6 oz/ sq yd or 20 g/sq m) it is most often used as a floating row cover; that is, it gently floats on top of the crops as they emerge and grow. It is soft and non-abrasive and will not damage crops. Supporting hoops are generally not needed. Although Dupont AG-06 is light in weight, it is durable enough for multiple uses in one season or for several years when handled with care.
AG-06 is available in 67"x 250', 67" x 2550', and 148" x 300' rolls. Only the edge of the material has to be secured; therefore, the larger sizes are more economical to install.

ATV-Gound Cover -Custom Floating Covers
For growers who need a more durable floating cover, Dupont 5131 is 1.25 oz/sq yd (42 g/sq m) spunbonded polypropylene, light enough to float over crops as they emerge and grow. When handled with care, it will last 3-4 seasons or more. It transmits adequate light (approximately 70%) for optimal crop growth. Although this material can in most circumstances provide up to 5-6 degrees of frost protection, it is not considered a frost protection blanket. The primary function is to enhance growth with a daily temperature increment over a period of several weeks. Dupont 5131 will also help to extend the growing season by providing extra protection into the fall. Custom covers are made to order. You only purchase what you need to fit your field. Available widths : 15 ft., 30 ft., 45 ft., and 60 ft., any length available.
