Three previously unknown sites were excavated at Ramat Hanadiv, located at the southern end of Mt. Carmel. At Horvat 'Aqav, in the western part of Ramat Hanadiv, remains belonging to three periods were exposed: a small Phoenician shrine, a Herodian estate manor and a Byzantine period villa rustica.
